1.
The
villain : Vivian
Kensington
Vivian is categorized as the villain
because she tries to stop the progress of the hero.
Elle : “I'm here to join your
study group. And look! I brought sustenance!”
Vivian :
“Our group is full.”
In fact, there
is still one place for Elle to join that group, but Vivian directly behaves
like a leader in which represents all members of that group to deny Elle. It
might be because Vivian doesn’t want Elle to get closer with Warner again and
to get more knowledge about law in order to push her as a permanent joke only in
Harvard Law School.
2.
The hero : Elle Woods
Elle
is both the main character and the hero in this movie. At first, she looks
nothing, but in the end, she has resolved some problems that this movie
constructs. She helps Pulette to take her dog back from Paulette’s ex-husband.
She also wins the case and frees Brooke in which placing Brooke as the murderer
of her husband by integrating critical thinking and fashion knowledge that she
has. So, the hero reflates everything nicely.
3. The donor : Elle’s fashion sense and accessories
Elle
has a good fashion sense and knowledge which help her passing every bad moment
and problem that she gets. Her defence for Brook either against a man which
pretends to be Brook’s spouse or Windham’s daughter is won by her fashion
knowledge. So, Elle’s fashion and accessories are like a magic which inverts
her from a bad situation into a better situation.
4.
The
helper : Emmett Richmond
Elle
meets her helper, Emmet, in unintentional moment. They get closer as a
mutualism symbiosis and never get contra. Emmet always supports the hero, Elle,
every moment when she needs a help, for instance driving her to interogerate
Windham’s ex-wife, increasing her self-confidence when she is afraid standing
in the court to start her defence for Brooke, and Emmet tries to defend her
when she determines to quit from Law school because of Callahan impishness. In
the other way, Elle helps Emmet also by analyzing the type of knowledge fashion
that Brooke’s witness has, as a homosexual man in which Emmett wins his case.
5. The prince : Emmet Richmond
Emmet is a reward for Elle,the hero. He is the happiness
which the hero gets after passing the villain’s scheme in the difficult way.
Elle herself is the princess and Emmet is her prince. The stronger evidence is
when Emmet finally proposes Elle as her spouse in the end of the story. In the
other hand, Warner, her ex-boyfriend that firstly she wants to get him back, is
refused by her appropriately at the time when he offers to walk out with Elle
again.
6. Her mother : Professor Stromwell
Professor
Stromwell appreciates and congratulates Elle’s efforts with rewarding her as
top student of the year.
7.
The dispatcher : Paulette
Bonafonte
Paulette
is the only one who advises the hero to steal Warner back from Vivian. Paulette
unintentionally places the hero on a mission which contains many problems and
conflicts that must be done to reach the goal.
8.
The false heroes : Professor
Callahan and Warner Huntington the Third
As the false hero, he has reflected
as a real hero perfectly in the beginning. Elle supposes that Professor
Callahan deserves her as an intelligent and professional lawyer, but in fact, he
just likes the way Elle looks, even he tries to feel her up.
